A Little Bit About Brian Chavis

I help organizations extend enterprise processes into the Adalo no-code environment. With more than 50 years of experience in computing, databases, systems architecture, and business applications, I specialize in connecting mobile users directly to business workflows.

My focus is not simply building apps. I help organizations design operational systems that connect mobile users, automation platforms, external services, and systems of record into reliable business solutions.

My expertise includes:

• Mobile data capture and field operations

• Workflow automation and orchestration

• Enterprise integrations and APIs

• Mapping and location-based solutions

• Document generation and reporting

• Route-based and inspection workflows

• Adalo, Make, Netlify, and related technologies

I am particularly interested in helping organizations capture operational truth at the moment it occurs and move that information through the business before it becomes delayed, summarized, or lost.

Whether you need field personnel reporting from the edge of the organization or mobile users accessing real-time corporate data, I can help design and implement a practical solution. Or I can help your people do it.

I am also the author of Truth in People's Hands: Designing Enterprise Systems for Mobile Timing and Distributed Responsibility.

Projects I've Been a Part of

RulePoint
RulePoint Builder
A mobile HOA compliance application that simplifies property inspections and violation management. Inspectors can document violations in the field, capture photos and location information, identify properties, and create violation records directly from their phones. The app tracks violation history and status, generates professional PDF notices, supports email delivery, and manages homeowner and mailing information. Property data can be imported from existing management systems, reducing duplicate data entry. The result is a faster inspection process, better documentation, consistent homeowner communication, and less administrative work.
KnockNot
KnockNot Builder
A mobile sales application designed for home improvement and home service companies to help field representatives generate their own leads. Sales reps can photograph a home or property issue, capture the location, select nearby homes from an interactive map, and send personalized postcards featuring the photo and a targeted message. The app integrates with online printing, payment, mapping, email, and automation services to manage the process from the initial field observation through postcard delivery and tracking. The result is a simple way for field salespeople to turn what they see in a neighborhood into targeted local marketing opportunities.
Collegiate Laundry
Collegiate Laundry Builder
A mobile laundry service application designed for university campuses that manages the entire process from student ordering through pickup, processing, and delivery. Students can order individual laundry loads or purchase semester or annual plans, select their dormitory and pickup window, and specify preferences such as detergent, dryer sheets, load type, and scent beads. Each laundry bag is tracked throughout the process, allowing students to see when it has been picked up, received by the laundry, completed, and sent out for delivery. Drivers have dedicated screens for pickups and deliveries and can adjust their route order as needed, while laundry staff see the processing instructions for each order and update its status when completed. The result is a coordinated workflow that connects students, drivers, and laundry personnel while giving students Amazon-like visibility into the status of their laundry.
